Patrick Tan
Executive Mentor & Coach
Patrick Tan is a motivator, innovator, and teacher. He founded Golden Point Executives to help resolve gaps in resource and process management that impact the profit model and the delivery of customer value. He believes innovative thinking should not be a monopoly of the teams working on products and services, but ought to be applied to everyone in their respective roles in an organization.
Patrick’s corporate experience in Silicon Valley built a strong career of re-inventing himself, over and over. He began as an Auditor who transformed into a Certified Public Accountant, and then climbed the executive ladder to eventually step into his role as the first Chief Financial Officer at a cutting edge, zero-trust, cybersecurity software development company that further challenged him to re-create himself, once again, as their first Chief Revenue Officer, a role that he used to build a very innovative, global sales team that sustained an average revenue growth rate of over 40% annually. Patrick was awarded the “Top 25 Software Sales Executives of 2021” recognition by The Software Report for his outstanding work in the cybersecurity market. He strives to find ways of accelerating revenue growth, expanding sales margins, maximizing the outcomes of value chains, and finding innovative solutions to business problems.
Patrick’s prior leadership roles also included success in banking, healthcare, education, entertainment, government, and defense. He earned an M.B.A. from the California State University. He is credentialed as a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Executive Coach and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the ICF.
Patrick is a modern-day Renaissance man. When he's not working or running races like marathons and triathlons, his favorite pastimes are meditations on the beach and painting with acrylic and oil paints.
